Fresh Conversations

Fresh Conversations is a free opportunity to connect with other older adults for a friendly discussion focused on nutrition and physical activity education.  Need time to focus on becoming a healthier you?  Fresh Conversations includes a newsletter and chat with your friends and a SNAP-Ed nutrition educator.  Monthly topics are to help you maintain good health, independence, and healthy nutrition choices.

Chisholm Trail District SNAP-Ed offers a monthly nutrition and health education program in various locations around the district of Dickinson and Marion Counties.  The program is called "Fresh Conversations" and is designed for adults 60+ to have an informal and relaxed fellowship while we discuss current nutrition, physical activity, and other health topics.  K-State Research and Extension SNAP-Ed program welcomes older adults in and around our communities to attend our monthly programs. All the Fresh Conversation programs are free and no registration is needed.  The program is less than an hour and sometimes even includes a taste test of a recipe or a prize!
